AU---Alternate Reality. Our favourite boys are put into our favourite positions while running a cruise ship in the Arctic. In other words, something outside of the show/game universe.
Angst---Well, I describe it as soemthing that makes bishonen sad and depressed, or angry...there we go! Unhappy things!
Bishounen---Literally, "pretty boy"
C&C---Meaning...COMMENT ON MY STORY DAMMIT! Just don't go overboard with the constructive critisism. You CAN have too much!
Crossover---A story in which another show is written in with the main one. For example: The Gundam Wing boys trapped in the Digimon universe.
Deathfic---Someone dies. Isn't that obvious?
Flames---Nasty e-mails! For example: "Your stupid bishonen suck my a$$." Not likely if you behave like that! ^_^
Fluff---Fluffy...like a soft winter jacket. Awwww...that was sooo cute! *sniff* that was too sweet? Get the idea? Happy and fluffy like bouncy rabbits...and fuzzy doggies... and little chibi Quatres!
Lemon---Hooray my favourite! *laugh* No really...it just means explicit sexual content. See? Nothing shocking, right? ^_^
Lime---Very *mild* form of lemon. Usually readable for squirmish people.
OOC---Out of Character. Someone does something that just does not agree with what their character's personality is like. For example: Heero Yuy liking Teletubbies...
PWP---Means Plot? What plot? We just wanna screw each other! A plotless lemon in other words. Just for fun ^_^
Seme---meaning the "top" of the relationship. You know...the one on "top"! ^_^ ehehe...
Shonen ai---boy with boy romance. Just romance. For example...Takato and Henry getting together. I mean...they're only 10 years old! What are they gonna do...star in a PWP?
Squick--- Stories that make you go: Ewwwwww!!!! That's sick!
Songfic---Stories set to a song. Simple enough.
Uke---You know..the "bottom" in the relationship. ^_^ On the bottom!
Vidfic---Using the lyrics to a song as the basis of the fic, basically telling you what they see in their minds when they hear the song.
WAFF---Basically fluff. Stands for Warm and Fuzzy Feeling.
Yaoi--A more *sexual* version of shonen ai. Although there's not always sex. Once again between two males.
Yuri: Romance/Sex between two females. |
